So I work in retail and I swear it takes a special type of person not to curse these dear customers out.I mean some of them are cool but others have you dismiss the customers always right rule.For example the other day..Matter a fact YESTERDAY august 30th,2010 was when I came face to face with a unruly customer.Ok so for the whole day I was on register for my shift.I love the register it makes time go by fast.Anyway like 4 hours into my shift trouble starts.This young lady is on my line whispers something to me while im ringing her up.At first i couldnt hear her so i was like what?”The womans child behind peed” what type of shit is that?I look at the lady she accused she was avoiding eye contact but most definately had a empty stroller in front of with the seat soiled and a puddle around it.EWW.I was annoyed but really couldnt do anything because its not like I can tell her wipe it up even though I would’ve LOVED too.So to ease the annoyance me and the customer in front of her was going in on her life “Thats so disgusting” “She cant even say sorry” “Why the hell isnt her child potty trained.Mind you she hears EVERYTHING.Once that customer leaves she comes up just as my manager comes.”We need someone to clean up over here because someone peed” “Who did that?” “this lady kid its disgusting” Still this woman isnt saying anything lol whateverrr.Anyway I ring her and tell her the total.She doesnt agree with it.I show her how much each item she had cost.She took off 2 items.Now pay attention..She gives me 2 twentys.Her change is $12.40.I give her the stuff and proceed to the next customer.Lady is still there.”Excuse me I want my 2 twentys back”.I look at her dumb “You want to return?”“No i want 2 twentys” So Im thinking she wanted to break a hundred or something.So I tell her she has to wait because Someone has to pay cash for the register to open.You know what this chick did?! She got loud.”I want my two twentys I gave you” “Miss dont get loud and you gave me the two twentys to pay for your stuff and you got your change you need to speak up.” 4 customers get rung none cash this lady is still at my register.”You gonna have to get change somewhere else miss because I cant open it.”.She get loud agian yall.”You moved to Fast.” “Your transaction is over” “I wasnt finished i want those two items back.”

guys i ring the two items and she doesnt want it..AGIAN. So im like whatever son…you know this lady is still standing at the register talking about her two twentys! lmao.I get my manager telling her the situation with this lady. This is the convo

This lady isnt giving me my 2 twentys

(me) shes asking for the 2 twentys she gave me in the beginning

(customer) she did it fast my change was like 4 dollars

(manager)”Mam let me see your receipt*looks at it*She gave you your change from your two twentys i dont understand the problem.

(customer) no this isnt it I want my two twentys

(manager) we’re not opening the register sorry *walks away*

(me) Next guest step over Im open!
